I love writing my weekly blog, and I missed it while on standby during my month in Italy. Even if I didn’t write, I collected pictures, sensations, emotions about this fantastic time there. It’s inspirational traveling around. Looking at fabulous places while having a chance to think about your life, your journey, why you are here, and what you can share with others it’s a great opportunity. In my last trip I touched base Sardinia and Liguria, and my eyes got to see beautiful landscaping. I tasted delicious local products while enjoying the peace of some of the gorgeous places in the world. Starting from Levanto, visiting Cinque Terre, passing by Portofino, Sanremo, Bordighera, and Montecarlo. Then flew to Arbatax in Sardinia and finally spent sometimes in Villasimius. Traveling is one of the best experience we can have. I used to run all the time, thinking that if I stopped, I would have slowed down, and that was a negative thing to me especially for my business. Eventually, I’ve learned that slowing down is not always wrong. I got to realize one crucial point. Slowing down gave me the change of finding a better balance in my life. Create more space for yourself. The opportunity to go somewhere or take it easy gives you the addition to create more space for yourself. How many times have we tried diets? All of us at some point in life said: “Monday I’m going to start my diet!”. But how many times did we complete a diet with surprising results? Is Coca-Cola one of your favorite drinks? Do you feel that some days your desire is diving into a bathtub full of chocolate? Have you ever had the feeling that you will survive only if you eat that piece of cake waiting for you inside your fridge? I’ve been there and that sensations are so hard to resist. I was chatting with one my friend last night, lovely person, and he sent me this picture of some HEALTHY foods he bought for his beloved cats. My eyes in the middle of all the grocery products spotted a bottle of Coca-Cola. The first thing I asked him was: “Why are you buying healthy food for your cats while you instead drink Coca-Cola.” He said straight to me that he loves sugar and he is addicted at this point to it. The only reason I would buy Coca-Cola is if my toilette is clogged, but I would eventually be worried to spread that to the environment lol But what if I tell you that you can control your cravings for sugar? Our brain is a brilliant machine, and he picks up things very quickly. I’d love to cheers to all the great mothers and women out there. I want to dedicate my weekly newsletter to all the mothers and women! We celebrate Mother’s Day in many countries around the globe. It’s a significant event that we honor. Today probably is more of a commercial occasion that sells experiences and merchandise, but let’s not forget about the importance of our moms and women around us. When I think about my mom, I see strength, courage, determination, and overall honesty! Still today she is my pillar, and she always will be. I have learned over the years to appreciate everything she has done for me. All the energy she put into our family to raise my brother and me without never fall. Especially today that I’m an adult I can understand the effort she put into it. I had never seen her tired or complain. As an adult now I realized the efforts that take to raise a family and try to hold everything else together. A Mother by definition is a woman in relation to her child or children. A person who brings up a child with care and affection or give birth to a child, but I’m convinced that is more than that. Last week I enjoyed talking about the importance of what we eat. It is a topic that is very much related to who I am today. Mainly when you eat good quality food, you can physically and even mentally feel better. We are what we eat, let’s dig into it. I love to build awareness around the modern systems of eating which have profoundly changed over the years especially when there is much information out there. When we think to eat nourishing foods, we may have some confusion in our minds especially today. Just thinking about all the commercials can drive us crazy. It can be tricky to understand what’s right to have and what’s not. I have learned my self one basic thing that is to me now a rule, and I strictly follow it. Never buy products that are advertised on commercial TV and everywhere around. You want to look deeper than that. Learn little by little what is safe for you and your body. Most of the products we find at the supermarket are full of chemical elements that will make us sick eventually. It is essential considering to buy less manufactured food, and the fewer preservatives you read on the label the better is. Recently I had my blood exams done. I do a complete checkup usually every 6-8 months to see if everything is all right or I need to work on something. The last ones came up pretty good, and I just needed to adjust my proteins slightly. But first, what are proteins? Proteins are large, complex molecules that play many critical roles in the body. They do most of the work in cells, and we all need them for the structure, function, and regulation of the body’s tissues and organs. Proteins are made up of hundreds or thousands of smaller units called amino acids, which are attached in long chains. Twenty different types of amino acids can be combined to make a protein. The sequence of amino acids determines each protein’s unique 3-dimensional structure and its specific function. (U.S. National Library of Medicine) Why do we need these Nutrients in our everyday routine? First of all, they are vital to our body’s functioning and keep our muscles healthy and robust. How many times have you heard that proteins make us healthy? It is true! Just think that there is not one cell in our body that don’t require proteins. I recently came back to Miami after spending three amazing months in Italy. When I went there, middle of October, it was still sunny an warm, but I was wondering how it could have been spending the time during the winter there. It has been six long years since I didn’t stay in my country during the coldest time, and I was wondering if I could have escaped the flu and bacteria that this season usually generates. Since I changed the food I was eating, and I started to pay more attention in having the quality ones, my body responds so well, and juicing is a huge part of the benefits I get. What I do pretty much every day is drinking my favorite juice which is a mix of oranges, grapefruits, ginger, carrots, celery, green apple, lemon or lime, and grapes. The deliciousness of this potent drink is huge; this is what I call my “Elisir di Lunga Vita” which means “Long Life Elixir.” I believe it’s what saved me from catching a cold and flu while I was there, even if I was strictly in contact sometimes with sick people. How powerful! My health conditions are overall good, and in a healthy person juicing is salutary because the natural sugar contained in the fruit especially, is easy to digest and to assimilate from our body. Your Beauty Starts From the Inside

I love when I find Beauty in everything and especially in every person I observe. Everyone is naturally beautiful, and we can be even more when we start to take care of ourselves in the right ways. I clearly can see the difference between a person who misses something from a person who instead carries around the sparkle and the brightness. This person mainly has unique “aura” all around, has a different energy which is almost visible and tangible, and has nothing to do with being aesthetically beautiful. It is something that starts from the inside; it’s something under the surface, more in-depth. Individually, I carefully listen to what my body-mind-soul need and I nourish it through a self-love attitude. How could we share our wellbeing if we first don’t love ourselves? It is the self-love that we carry inside which project a fantastic and positive energy visible from the outside. In many ways, we can take care of ourselves from inside out. Just for a moment think about the food we eat for example.
