I’d love to cheers to all the great mothers and women out there. I want to dedicate my weekly newsletter to all the mothers and women! We celebrate Mother’s Day in many countries around the globe. It’s a significant event that we honor. Today probably is more of a commercial occasion that sells experiences and merchandise, but let’s not forget about the importance of our moms and women around us. When I think about my mom, I see strength, courage, determination, and overall honesty! Still today she is my pillar, and she always will be. I have learned over the years to appreciate everything she has done for me. All the energy she put into our family to raise my brother and me without never fall. Especially today that I’m an adult I can understand the effort she put into it. I had never seen her tired or complain. As an adult now I realized the efforts that take to raise a family and try to hold everything else together. A Mother by definition is a woman in relation to her child or children. A person who brings up a child with care and affection or give birth to a child, but I’m convinced that is more than that. A mother is a person who is loving and caring, who is great to another human being, animal, nature, even though she hadn’t the possibility to give birth to her child. The Modern Food. Understanding what you are eating is important.

Last week I enjoyed talking about the importance of what we eat. It is a topic that is very much related to who I am today. Mainly when you eat good quality food, you can physically and even mentally feel better. We are what we eat, let’s dig into it. I love to build awareness around the modern systems of eating which have profoundly changed over the years especially when there is much information out there. When we think to eat nourishing foods, we may have some confusion in our minds especially today. Just thinking about all the commercials can drive us crazy. It can be tricky to understand what’s right to have and what’s not. I have learned my self one basic thing that is to me now a rule, and I strictly follow it. Never buy products that are advertised on commercial TV and everywhere around. You want to look deeper than that. Learn little by little what is safe for you and your body. Most of the products we find at the supermarket are full of chemical elements that will make us sick eventually. It is essential considering to buy less manufactured food, and the fewer preservatives you read on the label the better is. You certainly have heard it once in life, we are what we eat! There are many toxins out there, and our food is indeed one of the principal things we have to take in consideration when it comes to these toxins. We need to choose wisely the products we want to bring in our kitchens. As well when we go out for dinner, we must go to some good restaurants. Food is an essential part of our everyday life. It is part of our social life, and celebrations. It brings people together during holidays, and it’s for sure part of many cultural traditions around the world. International Sleep Awareness Week – Are you taking enough care of your needs?

How many times did you wake up in the morning, but the feeling you had was quite the opposite, and you wanted just to lay down in bed without step one toe on the floor? I catch myself doing that sometimes, especially when days are very tough and overwhelming, or when I overthink too much. In some moments I spend all my energies trying to do something, but practically I don’t get much done, and I don’t feel productive at all. Here comes the necessity to stay in bed in the morning instead of getting the motivation to get up and kick the day. I have always worked on myself to acknowledge new things, and I have made such significant efforts to be where I’m today. Of course, I’m still doing that, and I will always do it. But among the things I have learned during my journey, there is one huge belief that changed and defined my life for goods. I started to be aware of this new concept since I began to walk in the coaching world when I was guided and led by amazing people who inspired me so much. Juicing: Good or not? Give it a try!

I’d like to write again about Juicing because a lot of people are asking me and bringing up the conversation during these days very much, mainly because they knowI’m a huge fan of it. There are many controversial opinions about health-related subjects in general. Just checking online will make you crazy. For instance, there are different opinions about foods, diets, which one is more suitable for you, and again is vegetarian or vegan a healthy way of living, are fruits and veggies something that you should eat regularly? And so on. How many diets are out there? I researched some numbers and this impressive! Just looking on there are approximately 1,656,417,196 overweight people around the world right now while I’m writing this article, and about $ 136,958,661 money spent on weight loss programs in the USA today! So this diet industry which is worth billions of dollars should have at least half of these programs working, and we should all be lean and fit. When someone asks me about Juicing, I listen to all the concerns they have, and I get to answer many question and doubts that most people have. Juicing is not healthy for your body! Whatever you are thinking, think bigger!

This morning I was walking my dog as I do every day, and I’m checking things around. I like to do so, and I’m looking at people, trees, smiles, other dogs, and been just aware of what is happening in this world. While I was picking up my dog’s sh** I saw this little bug, upside down moving and roasting under the hot sun, trying to help itself and go back to his life. Is the very moment when I realized a simple thing. I had two choices. Leaving the bug helpless to die or take a little sprig and turn the bug back on its little feet. I know I know.. Most of the people wouldn’t even realize it, or worse they would have just let it die or step on it. At the end of the day, it is just a bug! WHAT IF! What if everyone in this society could realize one thing. You are bigger than you think you are and you have the power to change things! What if every person could realize that. Even one small action matter! Smile to a person who passes by you, one “hello” to say “Hei! Are you getting enough proteins through your day?

Recently I had my blood exams done. I do a complete checkup usually every 6-8 months to see if everything is all right or I need to work on something. The last ones came up pretty good, and I just needed to adjust my proteins slightly. But first, what are proteins? Proteins are large, complex molecules that play many critical roles in the body. They do most of the work in cells, and we all need them for the structure, function, and regulation of the body’s tissues and organs. Proteins are made up of hundreds or thousands of smaller units called amino acids, which are attached in long chains. Twenty different types of amino acids can be combined to make a protein. The sequence of amino acids determines each protein’s unique 3-dimensional structure and its specific function. (U.S. National Library of Medicine) Why do we need these Nutrients in our everyday routine? First of all, they are vital to our body’s functioning and keep our muscles healthy and robust. How many times have you heard that proteins make us healthy? It is true! Just think that there is not one cell in our body that don’t require proteins. How about Juicing!

I recently came back to Miami after spending three amazing months in Italy. When I went there, middle of October, it was still sunny an warm, but I was wondering how it could have been spending the time during the winter there. It has been six long years since I didn’t stay in my country during the coldest time, and I was wondering if I could have escaped the flu and bacteria that this season usually generates. Since I changed the food I was eating, and I started to pay more attention in having the quality ones, my body responds so well, and juicing is a huge part of the benefits I get. What I do pretty much every day is drinking my favorite juice which is a mix of oranges, grapefruits, ginger, carrots, celery, green apple, lemon or lime, and grapes. The deliciousness of this potent drink is huge; this is what I call my “Elisir di Lunga Vita” which means “Long Life Elixir.” I believe it’s what saved me from catching a cold and flu while I was there, even if I was strictly in contact sometimes with sick people. Gyms are already full! Chocolate, candies, and all the yummiest foods possible on the tables of this holidays. Do you feel you ate as there was no tomorrow? The ambient is charming, and we can’t wait to enjoy our time with family and friends, sharing harmony and valuable time. It’s a tradition!
